[Coco] mouse on sdlmess (linux)

I have used my linux PC mouse in sdlmess as a joystick, and it works, and it's
a USB mouse. I think you just need to get it configured properly. In
SDLMess, you need to start by pressing Scroll-Lock to disable the 'full
keyboard emulation' and go to partial emulation. Then press Tab to get into
the config menu. Does your OS9 software expect your 'mouse' to be in the Left
or Right joystick port? I think MESS calls the right port as joystick 1, and
the left port is joystick 2. Use the "Input (This System)" menu to configure
the joystick ports. At the bottom of the menu, you can map your Mouse X/Y
axis to "AD Stick X Analog" and "AD Stick Y Analog" (or AD Stick X/Y 2 Analog
for left joystick port). Then you can go back to the main config menu and
select the "System Configuration" menu. From there, you can configure your
joysticks to act like a regular joystick/mouse, or a Rat Graphics Mouse
(whatever that is). You can also set up hi-res joystick interfaces here if
necessary.
