Section 3.6 E - No servers.
You have the same situation as I do.
Adelphia does not block the ports, they just disconnect you if they
discover a server operating either through complaints or from their own
port scans.
To get reconnected, you have to pay the full installation fee again.
It appears that many ISPs prefer to have overly restrictive terms of
service instead of competent technicians.
Charter, comcast, and roadrunner all prohibit servers on their
residential rate connections.
While some ISPs will allow you to pay a higher rate for a service that
allows your own servers, Adelphia is not one of them.
I have no other broadband internet options here, so if I get kicked off
of Adelphia, the only thing left is dialup.
