Though waht you're describing sounds shocking.. and not the way I was 
taught, there are acupuncturists who belive one can treat with the use of 
the same points all of the time..
however they must diagnos because they have to know how to put in the 
needles .. that's also a  of significance.. I've heared of major chinese 
doctors in china or Japanese Acupuncturists.. it's a certain technique.. but 
they always diagnos..
Not diagnosing.. makes it.. not medicine..no?
Isn't it true that once you diagnose the problem you have done almost all of 
the work??
