All,
We discussed having an online CoCoFEST! in early 2024. We are looking for
someone who can handle the technical aspects of the show.
This online CoCoFEST! is in addition to the Star Wars day CoCoFEST! event on
May 4th and 5th.

Subject: GCCC Business Meeting
All,
The last Glenside Business Meeting was well attended.
We discussed having an online CoCoFEST! in early 2024. We are looking for
someone who can handle the technical aspects of the show.
We discussed trying to set up a bulletin board system (BBS) on a real Tandy
Color Computer 3.
With all the serial-to-Wi-Fi devices, serial-to-ethernet devices, coco
network devices, and DriveWire we should have a BBS to make use of this
capability.
Perhaps we can do file transfers and such. Kermet, xmodem, ftp, scp, .
Perhaps we can re-live 300 baud.
The December meeting is on the first Thursday of the month. And at that
meeting we want to see if we should change the date for January to something
better for most people. I wonder if we need a hybrid-date like the first
Thursday of the month for January and the second Thursday of the month for
February, and the third Thursday of the month for March. And then rotate
back to the first Thursday of the month.
This is a link to a survey. Please check all dates that are good with you.
This will give us a better idea of what date to use in January.

Please share this link on other platforms. I am no longer on facebook and I
cannot share it there, so please do it for me. I am on discord, but I do not
know where to share it.
