I have many ways to get to the information in the links shown in the 
email, but I would ask that something continue to be sent to the 
groups/lists, if only a link to the list.  It's super busy at times, and 
these emails create "events" I can use to stay looped into community 
efforts.  I'd generalize and state announcements in general of this type 
should get an email posting. There's been talk about dwindling traffic 
in this list, and I have no desire to artificially prop up the stats, 
but firing off an email on things that are indeed happening seems 
appropriate.

My petty, old fart response is that I appreciate you posting to the 
email list.  While I am joined to most if not all the FB groups and 
probably a half dozen web forums where CoCo is discussed, the news often 
gets lost in FB and their algorithms, web forums often require me to 
"poll" them, and Discord's "notify" feature is rarely granular enough.  
I know email gets a bad rap, but it works awesome for me.
