I guess that the Glenside is pretty basic and only acts as a 'y' cable for the bus. lt looks like a floppy controler and a speech pak would be ok, but not the 2 paks i was using

You can’t have two cartridges connected that both have roms without an mpi. If you do, it’s a wonder that anything works.
