Walter, just for kicks, I downloaded VCC 2.0.1b and played around a little with the SuperIDE.dll this morning. I got it to recognize the vhd image but it was blank so I got no further. Here's what I found...

In fd502 config, make sure the "Clock at 0XFF50-51" IS checked. Then in IDE Config, set the "Base Address FFXX" to 70.
Set the MPI Config to Slot 4 (fd502)
ALSO... make sure your offset in HDBDOS is CORRECT!! The offset is based on the size of the OS9 partition BEFORE the rsdos partition. To get this, check your VHD file size, divide by 256 to get the sector count, then subtract 161,280 for the 256 rsdos disks (all in decimal). Convert this number to hex and that's your offset for hdbdos. Then and ONLY then will hdbdos recognize the LBA HD. If the offset is wrong, the LBA HD will not be found. This took me about an hour to realize LOL.

This will make HDBDOS recognize any image in the master as LBA.
I know I have a populated image in my Coco stuff at home but will not be there until the weekend. I will check when I get home (maybe tonight).
The NitrOS9 drivers to use it are another ball of wax...

It uses the standard os9/rsdos partition scheme just like hdbdos for dw and rgbdos. You'll have to set the offsets as described in the hdbdos manual.
