So you would not have to run the SDC DOS that boots up w/ the CoCoSDC. By using a 720k emulator (if compatible w/ the CoCo controller), you could boot standard DECB and use it. While there may not actually be a *good* reason to do this other than for the FUN of it --- nonetheless, there is the reason. :)
