[Coco] Is there a string library for basic09?

I think I was down that road. I thought I could convert to HEX and then use the VAL or whatever BASIC09 calls it which converts a string to a number. But, it doesn't parse HEX numbers, so that won't work.

Hmmm, does it work in MS-BASIC? I don't think I ever tried to numberize "&HFF" or anything/
