[Coco] OT: Chicago Southland Mini Maker Faire

The Google search for Morena IL maker faire does work. The first two hits pertain to this maker faire. I should point out though, that the city name is Mokena, not Morena :-)


In fact, when typing in "morena" in Google, before typing in the rest of the search phrase, will start bringing up hits for Morena Baccarin, of Firefly and of "V" fame.


I think it is a safe bet that there will be 3D printers, as a Maker Faire without 3D printers is like an aquarium without fish. Noemi and I hope to be at that faire, time permitting.


The faire that took place on Aug 8 also had workshops for programming Android phones. While not sure if these will repeat for the Aug 22 faire and not exactly CoCo related, this could be of interest to some here (and living within a reasonable distance). Plus I am sure that they would welcome a Vintage Computer booth (or tables, as they call them) and any here and in the Chicago area are bold enough to want to display 8 bit technology.
