Good point. I made a Y-cable back in the day, (in the 80s).
It worked perfectly for me with a FD, a HD controller and
a RS-232 cartridge connected to it. What I really need is a 
very small board 1"x2" appx. with edge connectors on both ends, 
all 40 tied together with each card edge, then I don't have to worry
about the EPROM's conflict. It would be less expensive too.
