I still don't buy this concept of emudsk. What is the purpose of an
emulator if not to emulate 100% the hardware ?

You should not change the software to run it under an emulator right ? When
you run windows XP under VIrtual Box or VMWare you don't install emu
drives, you just use the real drivers. That's the way it should be.

This is why I patched MESS to support superIDE CF images witthout any
driver reconfiguration. Just take the CF image and use it.
