It would be really nice if there were companies that do small-quantity prototype runs of flex circuits, like there are for rigid PCBs. Or maybe there are, but I just don't know about them? Maybe somebody makes metallized mylar or polyimide sheets that can be photochemically etched just like rigid PCBs in a home shop?
