Sounds good... I agree with the 3.3.0... 
3.2.9 has been around for a long time, just never officially released. I know I've been using it for almost 4 years so it's getting old. Time to move on :-)

I should point out that steps 1-4 above is just a quick mercurial
exercise to make the default branch file-to-file identical to what
there is in lwtools-port today. It will discard any changes in old
default that are not in lwtools-port.

So I guess it should be 3.3.0 then, also considering the last "proper"
release was 3.2.8 back in 2009 and quite a lot happened in the repo
since then. And minted!
