Yes, that is a word I learned in about 1947 or 8.  ;-)

That said, all of the stuff there is either direct subdirs in the html 
tree, or links from it, so I have removed the address from my hosts file, 
and edited the index.html links to use the ./linkname syntax and it all 
seems to work here, try:
<http://204.111.25.156:85/gene/> to see if I've left anything broken.
