Dan,

I have a FM-7 in my collection with a monitor.

I'll take a look this weekend.

Regards,

Mark

Subject: [Coco] Monitor for Fujitsu FM-7

Gentlemen,

After a very long search, I finally have been able to purchase a Fujitsu
FM-7, and would like some advice re: how to best connect it to a color
monitor.

Per the following page, pinouts for the two color ports are:

http://www.nausicaa.net/~lgreenf/fm7page.htm

Monitor Pinouts

COLOR CRT (DIN8):

       x
    7 6
       8
  3 1

    5 4
       2

1: +12V
2: GND
3: Video clock (2Mhz)
4: horizontal sync signal
5: vertical sync signal
6: red
7: green
8: blue

Color CRT cable, CRT side digital 8pin (I-shape 8pin connector, S1308-SB)
    +----------+
    !5 6 7 8!
    !1 2 3 4!
    +----------+

1:open
2:red
3:green
4:blue
5:ground
6:ground
7:horizontal sync
8:verticle sync

I have a number of color monitors with composite and svideo inputs, as
well as CM-8 and Amiga 1080 monitors at my disposal, and can solder.

Can anyone recommend which plug and monitor combo would likely work best?

Thanks!
-Dan
