I recognized from the beginning that the debate kept feeding on 
itself, I stayed out, others debated with him including yourself, he 
left, I chimed in with 2 cents, now I'm the jerk.

That's fine.  I'll take my title with pride, and I insist on bowing 
out now and leaving the last word to whomever.  I've got a tremendous 
amount of work on my shoulders so I shouldn't have even spoke in the 
first place.  "My bad".
