Todd,

The reason keyboard is removed as it is easier to work with it out. Then reinstall.

Thanks Mark, though it may be easy to some, I am not very skilled with a soldering iron :-P.  But as long as there is no incompatibility, you are right, I wouldn't go back.  As far as the SIMMs, I would be getting them from Cloud9 so I am assuming the ones they package with it will fit fine in the CoCo3. Any pointers on installing the board?  The instructions say something about unmounting the keyboard.  Not sure what thats about.  Thanks.
