Softside was never "Model I only".  From the start it was multi-platform.  Mod 1/3, Atari, Apple, Pet.  I learned a lot translating from one BASIC to another and/or reading parallel listings (actually, it really pissed me off when they split it into separate editions for the various machines, but that's probably why they went titsup within a year of that change, as each machine was too small a market).

I translated quite a few Softside listings to the Color Computer.  Those tapes are long lost.  "Three removes equal one fire"  -- Poor Richard
