[Coco] Odd uses of the term "CoCo"

Roger's Coco story sparked the curiosity bug in me... I have seen references
to the term CoCo in the oddest places, let's go over a couple:

CoCo - In central Mexico, not so prominently in the northern region, the
word Coco is used to describe basically "the boogeyman". Small children
would be warned that if they didn't eat their veggies, behave, do their
homework or simply keep from being nice boys, the "coco" would come at them
at night and abduct them.

There was a project from someone in the CoCo community (Boisy?) that took a
CoCo 3 and had it installed in a Toyota truck. I tried to find some relevant
links to this but all I got were no longer active. Anyway, the funny thing
is that the 'mobile CoCo' project was duped "The Coyota". Coyotas are a
natives created desert in the northern state of Sonora Mexico, see more on
this on wikipedia <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coyotas>. Perhaps I should
strive to get some of them Coyotas (the sweet bread) to the next Last CoCo
fest... would that fly? they are GREAT with (huh) hot cocoa or just plain
coffee...

Of course that almost everyone knows that the word CoCo translates directly
into spanish as-is (coco) for Coconut... the fruit.
