[Coco] Running 5.25" drives with Win 2000

I'm starting to build up a system so I can work with MESS
and other CoCo emulators.
I'm having a little problem trying to get one of my
systems to work with a 5.25" drive. The system in
question is a P3 - 500MHz. I can set the BIOS for a 5.25"
drive as either A or B, but when I boot into Windows 2000,
every time I try to run the drive, I get "Please insert a
disk into drvie B" (or A) message.
The 3.5 drive works fine regardless if it is set to drive
A. I tried several drives including a 3.5"/5.25" combo
drive and none worked.
I then plugged the combo drive into a P3 1G Dell I have
and it came right up. The older system doesn't have all
the updates, but it should find the 5.25" drive.
Any thoughts? I looked through the BIOS and I don't see
anything that might disable the use of a 5.25" drive.
Thanks
Jim
PS: I'm going to try to 3.5" drives in the system and see
what happens.
