[Coco] CoCo related question? (Better edit for coco3.rom)

Hi, I understand now why it's a invading utility.
It just won't work the way I had, when I said:

"I can't believe how EDITEX patched into the roms so nice.
It's like it was meant to be there. Take a look and see
how EDITEX uses up the unused portions in a coco3.rom."

Tried it and big crash. I tried another way and it was to
move EDIT into the $C405 memory and jump there from the
original address after doing some additional setup stuff.

You see my idea is to have EDITEX run entirely from ROM
and not depend on what's in the RAM when patched by
Super Extended Basic. Like I said I want it to be able
to do a regular EDIT commands on the current line number
and have cursor key movement and insert/overstrike at
current cursor location, but looks like it's not so simple.
It starting to look like a lot of work. I need to understand
how BASIC is working better before I'll succeed. I could
use someone with more knowledge to guide me some.

I am 49 yrs. I had a CoCo 3 since 1988, but lost it all
in 1995 when I got Windows 95.
