I'm so caught up in OS9 LII(B09) that I'm not sure....

I don't do that."turn the cursor off"..
No need to! (I know, that ain't the point here}

Wasn't it simply a "display xx xx" shell instruction?

If I remember. correctly, this could be passed to the OS from any legal
method.
