It's ben done.  Look for dskwrite, ah, somewhere.... I'm not sure if
it's on RTSI or not...  If you can't find it, I've got it on a CoCo
disk.

It was posted to the Princeton listserv long ago, then someone did a
fancier version...

Also check out os9dsk, which is on RTSI.  It will let you extract the
files from OS9 virtual disks.  (There's a companion program, rsdsk,
for BASIC disks.)
