So, I now get $00F800 good sectors (63,488).
With a DMODE /R0 CYL=3E0. It formats out
(taking forever) and seems useable. I tried to
copy the whole contents of /dd/cmds over. It
did without complaints. Then I did a chx
/r0/CMDS.  Then tried to run "maze" and it
crashed. Oh, well at least it seems to be ok
so far.

Oh yes, Robert, I can now see the FORMAT
numbers going by, 000 001 002, etc.
