Robert,

OK since I suspected that the two lower bits of
$FF8X are broken I modified your
driver to do a lsla lsla just before the
store to $FF80. And it's working.
DMODE /R0 cyl=F8, for now.
I get $003E00 sectors good AND no crashing!
