I sold Randall the parts. I thought it was for a real good reason. Being a
hardware guy, what better way? Build it, you understand it. You modify it,
you make it better or worse, you learn. Actually sounds like me many years
ago. His intern will learn a ton. There are better ways to do this but it
is like learning math the long way and once you understand the concept you
move to the power tools. Same rules apply here.

I tip my hat. I wish we had more people doing this type of learning. A lost
art. IMHO.
