[Coco] NitrOS-9 newbie needs some help

Well, you didn't say... For all I knew you still had the original
CoCo1 drives in use.
Just out of curiosity, what tools do you use for DECB development? If
OS-9 traumatized you, "Color Disk EDTASM" terrified me! I've got
better development tools on my CP/M machines!

RMA's a good, solid assembler, and scred's a reasonable editor. Most
of the rest of the dev system has updated replacements that have been
integrated into NitrOS-9.

The Tandy/Microware books are fairly good references but horrible for
actually learning to use OS-9.

Yeah, AmigaDOS is cool. We'll probably never see another OS that
knows floppy disks so well.
