Hi all. Glad to see a few names I recognize, although no one will
recognize me considering 98% of the time I lurk in the dark. :)
Anyway, I've got a PowerBook G3 Firewire (G3 400MHz) with Debian Linux
Testing/Unstable installed on it. (As well as MacOS X 10.2.x, but that
ain't my main OS.) I've seen a few pages up that say that I can
compile and create C and C++ binaries for 6809 OS-9 using a specially
compiled version of GCC. I did try a few of these, but never got my
machine to compile GCC because it didn't recognize the 6809 option
included with the compile. (Or something to that effect, it's been a
little while.)
So does anyone have anything that could help me along here? I mean, I
wouldn't think that it would be a problem, but should I try this on a
x86 machine? Does someone have binaries that they could pass on?
Anything would help, really. I would love to have an up-to-date c and
c++ compiler that I can use for the Coco, even if it's not on the
Coco.
Thanks!
