Wow! You are fast! Fantastic.
I also had the idea of ram at the bottom and rom at the top, 
however I think $2000 is a bit low for rom and suggest rom 
from top of space working downward as needed except for 
having 8k or so of rom area at $cooo just like the cts of a 
coco, thus allowing coco cart software debugging on a real 
coco.
Since you are so quick maybe I'll let you design "mini-coco" 
with me providing suggestions instead of the other way 
around.?
I can easily draw up a TTL memory mapping circuit but to do 
so in hardware would take quite a bit of board space which I 
was hoping to avoid(physical space). If I desing the memory 
map as if it were TTL could you then convert that into a 
PAL/PLD Jedec equation?? you see I have been in electronics 
for some time (30 yrs) but am new to these devices?
