Assuming you have VDGint in your kernel. And, IMHO, if you're going
to have vdgint in your kernel, might as well have term_vdg.
I normally have two main OS-9 bootdisks, one windint only and one
vdgint/windint for those rare times I feel like playing with DM3 or
Carmen.

For many years I didn't have the Tandy xmode installed, since I'd
upgraded to SACIA and it came with its own xmode (or is that from the
eliminator drivers? Or is that SACIA? I ferget) and it made my head
hurt to keep both around. Anyway, I was using an xmode that didn't
support the type= argument.
Also, many vdg programs blatently assume they're on /term and are
hard-coded that way. You can patch them, sure, but usually to another
hard-coded window.

I've always been somewhat confused about iniz and when it is or isn't
needed.
