Gotcha - my particular sentence/intent didn't mean OOG in the sense of a
PM talking OOG (due to lack of curtain), but rather that healthy OOG is
important (along with "both IG and OOG, both TINAG and TIAG, both story
and discourse"). I consider "huh, what tangent are they going off on
now" healthy. I consider "oh, jesus, they're trying to relate things to
that faked website" unhealthy.

"Essay" is faaaAAR too kind. This was "merely" a "post",
a "this project is inspired by and why", not an essay.

Agree.

When I lament about curtains, I do so not to banish them, but instead to
make them translucent - I think that term was even used in the ARG chat
the other night - Mind Candy had a translucent curtain, and so, now,
does EE. (Though, one could torture the curtain metaphor further and
further, arguing that the curtain was translucent as soon as one WHOIS'd
BeSeeingU, but only now, with schmeldritch, do you actually "admit" it).

I support the OOG/BTS orgy, but certainly agree that the scenes
must, in fact, be finished, before one can go behind them.

I think we should replace "curtain" with "bathroom stall" - you can peak
under to see there are feet there, and certainly knock to hear someone
say "occupied", but anything more (say, sticking your hand under and
feeling around) can get pretty ooky until the door is actually opened
and you can see what's going on.
