Hi there,
First time I write to the mailing list. I really enjoyed the IRC meeting yesterday, I'm looking forward to the next one.

Since I'm guilty for having started the whole AAA thing, I'll talk a little bit about my thoughts on it.
I think ARGs being a medium that combines a lot of previously existing arts (storytelling, writing, graphic design, acting, film, photography, etc) and takes them into a new level of interaction, are art. No doubt about it (for me, at least).
On the other hand, it being art doesn't mean you could hang an ARG in a museum just like that. We would have to consider the degree of depth in which an ARG takes all those artforms ("is the storytelling solid?" "is the writing good?" "is the overall art direction consistent?" "does it take you somewhere?") in order to establish if an ARG is a significant piece of art. So, for me that's what would be interesting to discuss regarding AAA (which could also be, "ARG Art Appreciation".)
