Oh, and to bring it back to your first point (I post before I think): that
the archive of this list only be accessible by members.

Great! Thanks Andrea.

Just one point. I thought the agreement was to leave this list as open to
all, but that a small group of developers will go off and form their own
private list to be able to discuss ARG development in private. ARG
development will still be discussed here, but another list that is private
list is needed as well.

Subject: [arg_discuss] ARG SIG Chat Feb. 3 Log Plus Summary

Good evening!

We had a really productive chat about the SIG on IRC this evening. To
summarise two hours of conversation into a short handful of bullet
points, we decided:

* The goals of the SIG are three. 1. Fostering a community of ARG
developers, 2. Evangelising the artform, 3. Education about the
artform. Most specific interests would fall under one of those
categories.

* In the interest of goal 1., we should take a very hard look at
making the list closed/private/unGoogleable.

* But specific decisions are better handled by smaller groups of
volunteers who want to further each specific goal. We should,
therefore, form these groups right away. Any volunteers?

* Speaking of volunteers, we got a few volunteers for joining the
leadership council. :)

* The chat was pretty great, and we should have them regularly,
perhaps monthly, with the next one tentatively scheduled for the week
or so after GDC.

But, you know, don't take my word for it, go ahead and read the log. :)
