From RuhlenR at missouri.edu Thu Aug 23 08:52:04 2001 From: RuhlenR at missouri.edu (Ruhlen, Rachel Louise (UMC-Student)) Date: Tue Jun 22 07:34:19 2004 Subject: [Papyrus-Mac-L] Medline references Message-ID: <44D2ED0AC0121146BF01366481060EBE02CF5C7F@umc-mail02.missouri.edu> Hi, I've been trying unsuccessfully to import references saved from Medline. I've tried all the formats that have "Ovid" or "Medline" in their name. I've also tried saving the references from Medline in various ways (reprints, abstract, etc). Any suggestions? Thanks, Rachel Ruhlen From jan.herrmann at cetacea.de Thu Aug 23 03:04:10 2001 From: jan.herrmann at cetacea.de (Jan Herrmann) Date: Tue Jun 22 07:34:19 2004 Subject: [Papyrus-Mac-L] Excalibur 4 available Message-ID: Dear friends of Papyrus for Macintosh, a new version of the freeware spelling checker Excalibur is out. Excalibur 4.0 is carbonized, what means you can let it run with MacOS 8.6 to MacOS 9 and with MacOS X. The developers made some improvements to the software, but also had to leave some features behind (Balloon help etc.) because of MacOS X compatibility. You can get further information here: http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/~excalibr/excalibur.html I tried to send this E-Mail a week ago to the list, but obiously used the wrong of my too many E-Mail addresses. Maybe it's still new to some of you. Any suggestions? where did you get the Medline references from? Public Medline recently introduced some new tags, which are not included in the official Papyrus Medline format. I send you a quick hack of the format file off list. Give it a try. A solution would be very nice! With SciFinder Scholar (giving access to Chemical Abstract Services and Medline), there is the same problem! Martin Schmid
