[CBI Men's Club] Ethiopian Fund

Friends-

As  many  of  you know, the Men?s Club has for the past few years supported
poor  Ethiopian  families in Kiryat Malachi, Israel.  We have supplied food
for  Passover  for  more than 30 families who cannot afford it.  This year,
because of the timing of the Spring Gala and other fund raisers, Men?s Club
elected  not  to  formally  raise  funds  for  this  purpose.  However, the
families  of  Kiryat  Malachi  have come to depend on the generosity of our
community.   This  year,  Rabbi  Bayar  kicked off this year?s fund raising
drive  by  generously  donating $3,000 from his Discretionary Fund.  We are
now  seeking additional donations for this very worthy cause and are asking
our fellow congregants to please give a little something to feed those most
in  need.   Please  send  in  your  donation  payable to the Men?s Club and
indicate  "Ethiopian Fund" on your check or envelope.    Thank you for your
