                          COMEDY WRITER/NOVELIST
                               ALAN ZWEIBEL

An original Saturday Night Live writer, Alan Zweibel has won 5 Emmy, 6 Ace,
and 2 Writer?s Guild awards for his work in television, which also includes
PBS?s Great Performances as well as The Garry Shandling?s Show (which he
created and produced) and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

His plays Between Cars, Comic Dialogue, Happy and Bunny Bunny all enjoyed
critically acclaimed off-Broadway runs, and the one-man show he
collaborated on with Billy Crystal, 700 Sundays, recently won a Tony Award.

Alan?s fiction has appeared in such diverse publications as Esquire, The
New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, and Mad Magazine and has been reprinted
in numerous collections and anthologies.

His feature film credits include Dragnet which he co-wrote with Dan
Aykroyd; Rob Reiner?s North which he adapted from his own novella; and The
Story of Us which he co-wrote and produced that starred Bruce Willis and
Michelle Pfeiffer.

To promote his work, Alan has frequently appeared as a guest on such shows
as Politically Incorrect, Late Night with David Letterman, The Today Show,
The Jon Stewart Show, Good Morning America, National Public Radio, etc.

Currently, he is adapting his best selling book Bunny Bunny: Gilda Radner -
A Sort of Love Story into a feature film for HBO films, is creating new
television series for FOX and ABC, and has recently published both a
children?s book called Our Tree Named Steve as well as his debut novel
titled The Other Shulman.

Alan and his wife, Robin, live in Short Hills and have three children,
Adam, Lindsay, and Sari.
