As I mentioned in your weblog; I think learning the Perl Idioms[tm]  
is enormously valuable.  (At least it was to me).

Learning about this or that module is nice, but much easier to pick  
up from the available documentation.

On the other hand, learning to put all the words into various  
effective expressions ...
