I think "d" is fine also, although technically something like 12345c03d01
would be what's really going on (which is legit now that long filenames are
allowed). After all, you're applying a decal to the composite part. We
should specify the correct naming of such parts, though, and I'm ok with
either just having the d, or adding the dxx onto the end of the existing
full composite part filename.
