I've updated http://www.ldraw.org/Article399.html to include our "laundry list" without committing us to doing it, or being restricted by it.

Subject: [LSC] Annual Summary

From http://www.ldraw.org/Article382.html

"Annual Summary
The members of the LSC will be responsible for publishing an annual summary to the community following elections for the next year's term. This document must be published several weeks before elections, on the first of October of that year. This summary shall outline the progress of the previous term, note all versions of the spec ratified during the term, and summarize the future goals and ideas of the current LSC members."

[[If there are any web content admins reading this, please note that the first two sentences contradict each other as to when the report is to be published and so needs correcting.]]

We therefore need to come up with a summary of our term.

I can't find a summary for 2006 or 2005 so there is no precedent to follow. I propose that we extend this article http://www.ldraw.org/Article399.html as it seems to meet most of what is required (albeit in an abbreviated format).

The original "laundry list" we were presented with was
1.) Approve the 1.0 standard
2.) Internationalisation of the part library
3.) Help meta command
4.) Error in the COLOUR meta command specification?
5.) Part header support for CA
6.) Updating the policies for part votes:

We have addressed 3 and 5, stand a good chance of clearing 1, and 4 was dropped as a non-issue/mis-understanding

I can add 2 and 6 as our "future goals and ideas" to the page.

Any others that anyone wants to add?

William
