Yep, the worst experience I could ever get w/ USB controllers (onboard or
external) were w/ VIA or Ali chipsets. I tested many ones in the Linux 2.4
kernel time, more than 2 years ago, my experience doesn't apply to 2.6
kernels and recent chipsets.
