[linux-laptop] close the cover

Hi all.
Sorry if my question is trivial, but i just can't find a
solution to this (appearently) simple problem.
I have a laptop (ok) with linux (ok) Fedora Core 4,
kernel 2.6.13-1.1526_FC4 and i actually would like 
that when i close the cover nothing would happen ...
no sleep, no shutdown, no hybernate, nothing ... but no way.

I have apm supported and enabled (even if it doesn't
work so well), but i'm afraid that my bios doesn't
support acpi :(( ... and i've found no drivers for this.

Any suggestion would be very appreciated!
