[linux-laptop] [OT] keyboard issue in Compaq Presario 2545AP

Hi All,
       I am having Compaq Presario 2500 (2545AP) model

Laptop, installed Fedora core-4 and working for few 
months, suddenly keyboard is not working, I have BIOS
 password set, since the keyboard is not working 
I can't even enter the password.

 anybody faced this problem in this model laptop,
what may be the reason and how to solve this?

 I contacted HP online support, they say BIOS may
be corrupted, ask me take to HP service center.
