I am subscribed to 4 flash mailing lists and they all seem to be almost
dead, except the MTASC (an AS compiler) mailing list.
This is a bit absurd, because the MTASC mailing list has well over 50%
OT postings.
However, I guess that flash has simply lost a lot of momentum - not that
it is being used less, but the usage stopped growing, and the people
using it just don't have a lot of questions left.
Regarding your question:
- Have you checked the Opera uses the correct plugin?
- Do you experience the same effect on other machines?
- Have you searched for bug reports regarding the issue (on opera and
macromedia)?
- Have you checked whether HTML source and swf byte code are identical
for responses generated for Opera to responses generated for other
browsers (send requests with the proper user agent identification)
- Have you been able to isolate the issue (remove code until it works)?
