Hi,
I' have a question about how to either build or make use of the
already existing flash library fader(s) buttons. All I need is to
query the value of one. I'm not sure if i'm missing something here or
what, because as experienced as I am with Flash Mx. This is rather
confuzing.

Otherwise, which was my first choice, is to build my own from scratch,
as the style of my original idea is very different from the original
fader / slider button. That proved to be rather difficult as well.

Any help on either of these would be appreciated.

ps. Also, if one were to name their own component 'mx-something', such as:
"mxMyComponent", etc. And one intends to use them in a professional
setting such as their own web-design company, written entirely by
them, from scratch. Is that a negative affilliation. Should they be
called something else.

I am thinking of the OpenGL terms when I say this. Without OpenGL's
permission to use their 'gl' trademark one would have to name their
components something entirely different. I just happen to enjoy the
'mx' prefix. That is all.

Thank you.
