You could be right, but I think there is enough competition in the graphic
design area now that it wouldn't be. Microsoft's Monopoly covered
professional and home users. Adobe and Macromedia are more in the
Professional arena. Everyday home user generally do not spend the money to
purchase Adobe products but go with one of the cheaper alternatives.
(but as always, I could be wrong. Good thought)
I did a quick search on statistics to see what share and saturation of the
market Adobe has. I didn't find anything useful. If anyone has anything on
this, that would be really interesting.
Of course at this point we may be moving way off topic. *shurg*

Just wondering, wouldn't this mean a too strong monopoly in graphic
software inside the hands of Adobe ? Wouldn't their marketshare be too
big after the takeover? I remember MS had big problems some time ago.
Anyway, i don't consider it a healthy situation.
