[flashpro] Weird trouble with MediaDisplay

Hi all,
I'm having the strangest issue with Flash mx 2004 Proffesional:

Clicking a textlink that fires a simple play()-function does not work
correctly: the video goes to and plays fra a few seconds before or a few
seconds after it's supposed to...unclear?
Here's the function:

function showcue(cue){
    var tiden:Number;
    tiden=cue-1;
    _root.film_admin.film.filmvindu.play(tiden);
}

It's 25 fps video and the MediaDisplay is set for that in the component
inspector, thus I'm a bit confused.

Anyone?
