Well, that's what I was going to do, but having a clean board makes it 
much easier.  Sometimes, traces are hidden under the sockets, so the 
only way to see the connections is to strip the PCB.

If you email me the top pics with the IC's removed, that might help a 
bit.  But, if anyone has a unit they'd be OK with me removing and
