Like I've said before I really like Hakko but, I may be biased like Jim
said since I use them professionally.
I cannot stress enough buying from a legitimate seller to avoid counterfeit
items.
I would strongly suggest since it looks like you're willing to spend the
money to avoid the no name brands. They are a waste of money. Money that
you will end up spending again to get a reliable genuine iron in the long
run.
I love my Hakko iron I have at home (unfortunately that model is
discontinued). I use newer Hakko models at my "real job" and they are great
also.
So if you spend the money on a known brand from a reliable vendor not only
will the equipment last, you will be able to get replacement parts unlike
the Chinese no-name products.
