How would we even tell how many complete systems were sold or not?
Perhaps worth making a registry of serial numbers? I don't even know
if the one I have would be considered a "complete" system. It's in a
pizzabox type AT case with an MM/1 sticker, but is that just what
someone put together or an official system. Then there's also the
other variants like the Wittman Computer Products 306 (WCP306) which
is IIRC a MM/1 based motherboard.

At least toward the end some bare boards with and without parts kits were sold, or partially assembled boards, and those by Blackhawk Systems.
